Composi Chat privacy policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Short version: Composi Chat collects nothing. It has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Everything it does happens inside your browser.

What it stores

The Twitch, Kick and TikTok channel names you type, and your chat filter settings (words to blur or highlight, hidden users), are saved in your browser's extension storage, so they're filled in next time. They never leave your computer, and removing the extension deletes them.

Who your browser talks to

To show chat, your browser connects directly to these services, the same way their own websites do:

• Twitch: chat, badges and pinned messages for the channel you entered.
• Kick: chat and badges for the channel you entered.
• TikTok: whether the user is live, and their live page, which opens in a muted tab. Chat is read from that page inside your browser.
• 7TV, BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ: emote images for the channels you entered.

These requests include the channel names you typed, because that's how the services know which chat to send. Their own privacy policies apply to those requests. Composi Chat never sends anything to its developer or to anyone else.

What it doesn't do

• It doesn't collect, sell or share personal data.
• It doesn't track the websites you visit. It runs only on TikTok pages, where it reads only live chat messages.
• It doesn't log in to any account or post anything for you.

Not affiliated

Composi Chat is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch, Kick or TikTok.
